You’ve gotten this far, you might be wondering, “As Client Coordinator, what will I actually be doing and how can I make an impact?”

Here’s a little bit about what your typical week will look like, and by the way, there never really is a typical week…expect the unexpected.

  • Be a master at keeping travel, schedule, expense reports and priorities organized because creating systems and structure for efficiency brings you joy.

  • Draft emails, communicate and form relationships with Presidents of global brands and Executive Assistants.

  • Prepare materials and coordinate logistics for meetings with some of the most senior officials in state government, and handle last-minute scheduling conflicts… because when you’re faced with a challenge, you shine.

  • Email with Fortune 500 CEOs to arrange business development meetings

  • When there’s a computer, printer or phone issue, you’ll be the first to jump in and figure out how to fix it… because, again, you shine when presented with a challenge.

  • Add new contacts and business development opportunities to Salesforce, and make sure data is up-to-date and accurate because you love organizing things and find data entry kind of fun.

  • Drive HSG’s hiring efforts by keeping track of candidates, sending follow-ups, scheduling interviews, and recommending creative approaches to source great talent.

  • You’ll select cool and personalized birthday gifts for clients.

  • You’ll make sure the HSG team plays, because everyone on the team works hard, (i.e. happy hours, team outings, holiday and birthday celebrations)

And now…the boring stuff…Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; however, degrees from the School of Hard Knocks encouraged to apply

  • Impeccable interpersonal and organizational skills; strong written English communication skills

  • Ability to manage up and take direction

  • Highly organized… we repeat: HIGHLY ORGANIZED

  • Level headed and can manage emotions under duress and tight deadlines

  • Genuine care for people with the ability to build effective relationships with staff, board members, clients and external constituents at all levels

  • Values constant growth and learning

  • Desire and ability to be helpful

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Familiarity with G-Suite, Salesforce or other CRM tools
